Privacy Policy for Pointer Pad

Pointer Pad does not require you to create an account.

The app may use local network access to discover and connect to the Pointer Pad server running on your computer. Connection data such as local IP address and device availability is used only to enable communication between your phone and computer.

The app may use device sensors, such as motion sensors, to support features like the laser pointer.

The app may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, usage data, diagnostics, and other data as described in Google's privacy policies.

We use information only to provide app functionality, including:

• discovering and connecting to your computer on the local network
• sending trackpad, keyboard, shortcut, media, and control commands to your computer
• supporting motion-based laser pointer features
• showing ads

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited data with third-party services used by the app, such as Google AdMob, according to their own privacy policies.

Pointer Pad communicates with the Pointer Pad server on your computer over your local network. Commands such as mouse movement, clicks, keyboard input, shortcuts, and media controls are sent to the connected computer only while you use the app.

Pointer Pad is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We take reasonable steps to protect app communication, but no method of transmission is completely secure. Use Pointer Pad only on trusted networks.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
